Robbin' Robin

The evidence, m'lud, shows one young robin caught in the act of thieving Tufty's nuts. His defence was that the said squirrel had lifted up the Perspex front, thus releasing all the nuts and making them available to all comers - finders keepers!!!! He also submits as mitigation that the squirrel ' 'ad it coming' because he's always nicking the bird's food - How does the Blip jury vote - Guilty or Not Guilty?

Sorry, I'm in one of my silly moods again because if I don't laugh I will cry.

The warning light on my dashboard has finally come on permanently and the recorded voice warns me to get it seen to immediately, so my car is now in auto hospital until the end of the week:-(

I'm trapped in the house/village with no car, so no nature reserve visits :-(

I've got a wasp's nest in the roof of the garage, with the entrance right near the back door :-(

It's going to get really hot and humid again just as I was beginning to get comfortable :-(

That's more than enough complaining for today and I'm not really that miserable, just felt like having a bit of a moan. The good news is that the sun's got his hat on again after all the rain this morning, so I might be able to get a walk over the fields this evening, if it's not too muddy :-))
