Today's the day ........................ to try out

Our Christmas present to Dominic this year was a Metal Detector Starter Kit (see extra).

He was full of enthusiasm to try it out last night when we gave it to him - but he had to wait until today to do it properly.  Despite the rather grey day, he and his Dad took themselves off to the Dhoon beach, just to the west of Kirkcudbright, to put it through its paces.  

No priceless treasure was discovered - but a lot of fun was had by all .................!
