At the BBC

Had a very strange trip down here. There are engineering works on the west coast main line. We set off very slowly and then trundled through Manchester. Then Stockport, Uttoxeter, Tamworth and lots of other places I’ve never been by train before. Once in London we dumped our bags at the Travel Lodge and then headed to Westminster. We’ve wandered about and admired the Christmas lights on Regent Street and Oxford Street. More sightseeing tomorrow.
