Fog this

It felt like a bonus day off today as I couldn’t shake the feeling that yesterday was Friday - weird, no?

Feeling the blues again, I took myself off for a walk up to Kendal castle (haven’t been there in ages) and encountered just one other person on the stroll, which was perfect.

It was a very damp, drizzly day and as you can see a low mist hung over the town. I was grateful for a call from a friend inviting me round for a brew and a post-Christmas debrief. This was swiftly followed by two separate walks into town, the first to look at glasses and the second to meet my parents for a hot chocolate in Kakaw. I was pleased to see my dad up and about and looking a little healthier.

I had a spot of lunch at home before helping a friend move some furniture around and then crashed out for a bit watching Inside Man (the Tucci/Tennant one) which was good fun.

Then it was down to rehearsal to work out the kinks on a few scenes, which seemed to go really well and more importantly I received two new pairs of glittery high-top boots which will form part of my costume and which I shall also try to purloin at a later date...

Finished off by watching the closing episode of series two of Shrinking, which left me in tears (again) - not that that takes a lot at the minute!
