A Foggy Day in the Village
FRIDAY
It was another foggy day. It seems that a blanket of fog was covering most of the country although, apparently the peaks of the Clwyddian Range and Eryri were bathed in sunshine.
Harriet took George to Rhyl Station for his train journey to Essex, where he is visiting his parents. The trip via Birmingham and Central London proved long and challenging.
I spent the morning tidying up around the house and washing the car and stole a brief walk around the village late afternoon. The new lambs were bleating and gambolling through the fog.
A guest for dinner and a few rounds of TV quizzes and naps.
