Bee afraid!

Back this evening from today's meetings and it was a little colder than of late. Rain was threatening so I headed out to the garden to try and get a quick blip.

Luckily for me there were a number of bees on the Alliums and they were all very sluggish, I presume because of the colder temperature. However the fact that the bees were sluggish meant I had the chance to try and get some good shots of them.

Chose this picture mainly because it shows the bee with its proboscis on display and it looks great seen large.
