just experienced

What a glorious day. After the journey over her yesterday we were not expecting the full sunshine treatment in Dover. We met our Australian friend straight away - without even a phone call. We sort of guessed Jeannie would be in the water practising for the cross channel swim, and there she was after the first trial swim, an hour and a half, youch. We sat and enjoyed the beautiful coastline from our pebbly seats. Watching with interest the groups of swimmers entering the water, doing their swim, getting fed. rest/recovery back in and off again ??

Lunch was great, local band playing in the beer garden and then off for a touristy trip round the area before falling into our B&B bed by ten and not even getting through the second episode of family guy zzzzzz
