The old ‘uns
MrKT and I took his parents out for a walk down at Budleigh Salterton - plus Bear the dog. It was a grey day with mizzle so not much of a view along the beach.
We walked up the new paths round the Otter estuary. The river used to run through an aqueduct over field but has now been released to form a wide estuary with mid flat. Loads of bird life to see, it’s amazing to see the change in the landscape.
There were plenty of folk out -like us they probably felt the need to walk off the food excesses of the last few days!
Had a chat with our son and his girlfriend int New Zealand in the evening. They have been housing sitting over Christmas and now moving on to stay with friends. The weather where they are has been wet like here - but warmer.
