A Creature from the Deep...?

...no, just a randon dog emerging from a swim at Whitley Bay this morning.

In spite of the weather forecast being for mist yesterday and this morning, it was wrong both days. Today dawned bright and sunny so we headed to the beach at Whitley Bay for a walk. Most of the photos I took were boring; I almost posted a shot of the recently repainted St Mary's Lighthouse looking spotless in the sunshine but decided that this action shot of a random dog emerging from its swim was more fun.

By lunchtime it was clouding over somewhat and rather cooler but (naturally) we still insisted on having fish & chips for lunch while sitting outside on a bench looking over the sea.
