Weird Tracks

Not really tracks in the traditional sense, but the marks of melting snow. The temperature has been up above freezing, the snow starts to melt but the ground is frozen so the water has to run away, rather than soak away. And these strange tracks appear. Fortunately the 10 day forecast says no more thawing temperatures in the immediate future so our snow will stay.
Lasse and Annika were here today for fika, and later dinner. A very nice evening with lots of chat. Mika the dog curled up on a sheepskin on the couch - the last word in luxury for her!
They are staying over in The Red House and will be here for breakfast too!
