St Lawrence Church nativity

The church was open when I walked into the village and, as I had not gone to Midnight Mass this year (which is the one church service I have always attended for 60 years or so), I thought I'd look in to check out its Christmas appearance. The flower displays were of a seasonal hue and exquisitely arranged. The nativity scene greeted all those entering the church. There was a volunteer present keeping an eye on things. I had a look in the visitors book and was moved by the heartfelt entries of remembrance and reflection.
