Man at C&A

I remarked yesterday that Belgium is a little like the UK thirty years ago. This was reinforced today when this blast from the past hove in to view in the Flemish city of Ghent. Clockhouse? At C&A? C&A famously pulled out of the UK at the turn of the millenium so it kind of quickly left the conciousness. Looking around inside and it also seemed to be stuck in a timewarp. Nighties with Peanuts characters printed on and snakeskin effect jeans, anyone? Another lost high street name we saw today was Etam. It's 1983 all over again.
