Two slightly distorted guitars

To Edinburgh Fringe to catch the excellent Tubular Bells for Two. They're two Australian guys who perform the whole of the Mike Oldfield masterpiece using all manner of different musical instruments and looping devices. They're so good that I've already seen them twice this summer and could easily go back for more. Even if you don't like the music, you can't help but be dazzled by their dexterity, memory and extraordinary musicianship.
We also saw David Baddiel's new show, Fame: Not the Musical. That was rather good too. The titular host talked about the effects of fame and his place - or lack of it - in the world of celebrity. Highly recommended.
