Almost home….

Went for our breakfast to Tabou. A very sociable experience with all the regulars there. One of them is Archie who is partially sighted annd goes there for breakfast every day, and had his 94th birthday on Boxing Day. He walks there from his big house down by the River Tay. He also goes to Edinburgh once a week for his lunch in The Dome where he is very well looked after by the staff.

We popped into the bread shop and M and S where I met a girl I had not seen for ages that I went to college with.

Home and a late lunch.

Later on in the evening I was going out the living room door and bashed my toe badly. I couldn’t walk on it, the one next to the pinky. Iced it and then took a painkiller and went to bed.

It’s Sunday and still can’t walk on it and it’s bruised. I’ve taped it to the next one but it’s a disaster for me as I walk so much:(
