Un-Bee-lievable
Another sleep-in day. We had no reason not to. It was rainy but very mild outside. I made hubby a country sausage breakfast. We both got a burst of energy. He washed what dirty dishes we had. I burned my hand a few days ago and cannot put it in dishwater. I gathered empty boxes, gift bags, etc and staged them in an extra bedroom until I can sort everything and put them neatly in the attic. All of the dishes from Christmas Eve were put away. We put away the bedding and other things we set up for Isla. Now the formal living room is back in order. The house looks so neat and clean again. I spent hours answering the Life Pro questions. Hopefully, that project will come to an end soon. I also hope they give me a chance to fix my typos. I found some when reading over earlier answers today. Hubby changed out one of the garage fluorescent lights to LED bulbs. What an improvement. I was hunting for a blip. The heather by our front door is in full bloom. There were at least three honey (?) bees enjoying its nectar. I couldn’t believe they were out but it was 64°F outside. They were quite hard to photograph with my phone; just too quick, flitting here and there, mostly under the branches so I couldn’t see them. Thankfully, they were buzzing so I could keep track of where they were. Mancil and Madi visited us this afternoon. They brought us homemade soup. Mancil brought his stocking as well so I could watch him open it, see extra. He and Lauren were the only grands we didn’t see on Christmas Day. He and Madi applied for their passports yesterday. They are going to Bermuda in June with her family as her graduation gift from her parents. All’s well with the rest of the crew as far as I know. Sky had a nasty virus the last two days. Hope no one else gets it. Wishing you a healthy week ahead as we head toward 2025-can you believe it? Stay safe. Thanks for dropping by. “Fame is a bee. It has a song - It has a sting - Ah, too, it has a wing.” - Emily Dickinson
