Waikanei

Drove to Wellington today, stopping off at Waikanei on the way, which meant coffee on a very pleasant beach looking out at Kapiti island. When we reached Wellington we checked in then did a little shopping, before heading to the waterfront where we had drinks and then an average meal.
Not sure Wellington has much to offer tourists on the whole.
