The Acrobat

A dunnock  contorting itself on the fence this morning. The smudge near its left foot is where I tried to remove a deposit of guano. I should probably have left it but it did rather draw the eye. 

I have lots of extras left so I've added some pulmonaria flowering by the river path. 

I was out early to do a bit of shopping for fruit and vegetables. Then back to walk Flora when the rain wasn't too heavy. A zoom chat and coffee with my niece in Maastricht was very welcome. Then I went into the garden to look for a blip (the dunnock) and noticed a bit of the roof waving in the wind. That's not right. 

It's hard to find someone working today so I guess that anyone who can take a look will charge a lot. Can't be helped because the wind and rain are set to get worse and this really does need to be repaired asap. Fun and games!
