Bridge over troublesome water

The weather broke late evening and got wetter and wetter overnight - very noisy in the tent so sleeping was curtailed.
My brother's tent let in water and his sleeping bag got wet so he was up early and found the way into the house was through a lake so he improvised the bridge. The rain did ease off a bit and the level receded, it had been about brick deep. The front door was also beyond a lake but it didn't manage to get in (the living room was flooded a couple of years ago).
A leisurely breakfast and a packing up of the wet tent and we were on the road home, which was straightforward. Much of the rest of the day was sorting out and snoozing.
