curns' corner

At the same time, as the number of deliveries to the house starts to increase, I can feel the volume of work we’re getting through is reducing. There are two reasons for this. Some of the people who joined us will be dropping off our team this week, and we’re trying to make sure that the final pieces of work they are coding are completed. And, of course, a few people are taking the odd day off for Christmas festivities or to use up some holiday they would otherwise lose.

After we were done, I thought seeing the Wallace and Gromit projection on Battersea Power Station would be a lovely festive evening. I thought it was great. The £9 mulled wine wasn’t worth it. The rest of the shopping areas are covered in Christmas trees with plain white lighting. It’s remarkably effective, but I lost count of the number of trees. The event seemed very busy; the large skating rink put in place for the season seemed very popular.
