Scotney Castle Painted

I long ago challenged myself to paint this but never seemed to find the time. Now at last,  a complete change from my usual style, I have given it a go.

We had visited Scotney a few days ago, and I took this picture with the intension of painting it. After a busy Christmas week, it was a restful few hours work.
