Whitby

We went exploring around Whitby today. 

We went in several fossil shops and examined around a billion fossils.

We went to the slots.

We went to the Whitby Lobster Hatchery and particularly enjoyed seeing tiny juvenile lobsters and a future dogfish squiggling about in its egg.

We went down to a very small piece of beach (the tide was in) and watched the waves from the shelter of the sea wall.

We went to "Humble Pie" (pies!) for lunch and it was absolutely delicious. There was drama when the door jammed and we were all briefly trapped inside - not that it mattered to us three, we were busy eating pies.
