Fossil hunter

This morning we went along to Staithes for some fossil hunting. We were very successful in finding many fossil imprints of shells (one pictured which CyclopsJnr himself found) and ammonites. So many that we had to leave some, and pick only the best ones to bring home. Well we did have to lug them up a fierce hill as the parking in Staithes is FAR from the beach at the top of the cliff. We had a very enjoyable time though and felt pretty pleased with ourselves.

Back to our holiday house for lunch, then we walked into Whitby for a round of pirate mini golf and a couple of drinks / games in a cosy pub.
