Goodbye 2025!

So the Edinburgh street party has been cancelled because of the weather for the first time since 2006. I see it’s cancelled in London too, (and Blackpool!) so people can’t feel too aggrieved. Though a Texas* concert in the Gardens would have been great.

JR took the car to the gym this morning, but it was dry by midmorning, when Archie and I went out for a walk round the Meadows, and it wasn’t too bad. In fact, there was a steady stream of young folk heading into town. There’s still fun to be had - just no band and no fireworks.

We stopped at the caravan for a coffee (for me) and the last liver muffin (for him) of the year.

We’ve found a half decent series on Netflix! ‘The Perfect Couple’. There are NO shootings! Though somebody has died. Just very rich, obnoxious people who don’t really like each other. Classic Nicole Kidman!

So, 2025 has come to a close. Jings! That went rather too fast!!
