Waiting quietly for the New Year.)

The Feast Day of Saint Sylvester 1. Patron saint of Benedictines, Sylvestrines. He achieved the status of Pope for 21 years. Born in Rome 285. Died December 31st 335 in Rome.

I have been mostly here at home after going to the Best One shop this morning.

It has rained consistently and is a sound we have grown to accept, as it is the most dominant weather here in Rishton Blackburn, along with winds. Hunter decided to go out but Holly stayed indoors.

I don't wish to say anything negative about our weather because all weather patterns have a purpose, defined by Creator God and we are not blessed to understand the reasons.

I have been blessed to find and to buy the book Steeple Chasing, Around Britain by Church, by Peter Ross. It is a well written book, and I have completed the first chapter. It is recommended especially if you find Churches a good sign of God's grace and Divine Presence, and interesting facts about old churches, their art, related stories, legends, architecture and traditions.
Peter Ross, the author, is an award winning writer.

So this year is about to come to it's conclusion.
I hope the people in Scotland stay safe after news of the weather there.
Blackpool has need of a different good focus for their celebration of New Year after the weather forecast they have.

I hope all my blip friends find joy, peace, safety and good times as we await 2025. Hoping much good happens.
