Rydw i'n mesur fy nheithiau cerdded i ddarganfod faint o gamau ydyn nhw. Heddiw es i drwy'r pentref ac yn troi i lawr Velindre Road i'r Tŷ Mawr Road. Arferai fod un o fy hoff ffyrdd i redeg oherwydd roedd yn dawel. Wel, mae'n dal yn dawel ond cerdded yn cymryd llawer mwy o amser na rhedeg. Roedd fy nhaith cerdded y bore hwn yn deng mil o gamau.

Es i heibio hen adeilad adfeiliedig hwn y tu allan yr hen ysbyty. Rydw i'n meddwl amdano fel porthdy (gatehouse), er na wn i beth oedd ei ddiben. Mae'n agos at gât yn bendant.

Mae llawer o ddirgelion o gwmpas yr Eglwys Newydd a dydw i ddim yn gwybod sut i ffeindio allan mwy. Ddoe ffeindiais i lyfr gyda'r enw 'Old Cardiff' yn y llyfrgell. Gobeithio y bydd ganddo rai atebion.

I am measuring my walks to find out how many steps they are. Today I went through the village and turned down Velindre Road to Ty Mawr Road. It used to be one of my favourite ways to run because it was quiet. Well, it's still quiet but walking takes a lot longer than running. My walk this morning was ten thousand steps.

I passed this old dilapidated building outside the old hospital. I think of it as a gatehouse, although I don't know what it was for. It's definitely close to a gate.

There are many mysteries around Whitchurch and I don't know how to find out any more. Yesterday I found a book called 'Old Cardiff' in the library. Hopefully it will have some answers.
