Lest We Forget

Not a very festive photo for New Year’s Eve, but it’s the only photo I’ve taken, so it will have to do. The flat-roofed building behind the memorial planter is Loughton Medical Centre, where I took Smithers this morning for a routine blood test. In complete contrast to yesterday’s lengthy appointment, we arrived ten minutes early to find a fairly empty waiting room, whereupon Smithers was called straight in by a cheerful phlebotomist and we were heading for home five minutes before the allotted appointment time!

I’ve spent the rest of the day continuing on a major paperwork clear up in the craft room, trying very hard not to continue to search for the bone paper creaser the while. (I did trawl through the kitchen waste bin with my rubber gloves on, before it went in to the dustbin for collection on Thursday though.) 

I promise I won’t mention it on Blipfoto again unless (until) I finally find it. However, for those strange people who may be interested to know exactly what a bone paper creaser looks like, they will find out if they look back at one of my previous blips here.
