New Years Eve

Last photo of the year has to be of some of our decs / lights as they won't be up much longer. Besides, I haven't taken any photos of interest today since it was blowing a gale this morning and had added rain this afternoon. 
Neighbours have taken the rubbish bags to the tip and some out of their wheelie bin as well but left the wheelie bin on the pavement. The search for intelligent life is hit and miss on this avenue!

The year has gone fast for me. Looking forward to a new one starting.
Edinburgh has cancelled the celebration due to the weather and so has Blackpool (!) and I can't help thinking, when I see these OTT firework displays every year, becoming bigger, longer, yet so repetitive - they are too much. 
Sorry to put the dampers on anything with that but it's how I feel when I  see them!
