A special gathering.......

It was lovely to be part of a special gathering of J's family and friends to acknowledge her passing and share in memories.  J created a Christmas Eve curry night tradition as a kind of nose-thumb to the craziness of what's become the over-commercialised Christmas celebration.  So this afternoon, we shared curries on the beach to recognise the special lady that J was.  And a lovely gathering it was too.......she would have enjoyed it I'm sure.
