The tree and the sea

I woke up with energy for getting stuff done. After reading my book for a while obvs. Took the Christmas tree down, put things into the loft, invested time in Chair Games. Both Will and Daisy's desk chairs have broken in the past week. We ordered two new ones, Daisy's broke in the first day. Two further new ones have been ordered. Chair Games is the processing of each chair in its journey in, out and through this house which today includes helping Daisy box up her no 2 broken chair which did not fully come apart again and picking up Wills new chair from Argos. Daisy's obvs not ready until Thursday.

A fine walk, fridge organisation then a reward of the sofa, telly and knitting. We had a fine Chinese banquet (which I feel is what you have to call a giant takeaway - we do like the leftovers), Daisy and Toby went out with clanking bags, we watched new year taskmaster and other bits and bobs. In bed by 10 as per, Happy New Year!!
