New Year's Day walk

It was a quick outing, in the brief window between spells of heavy rain. R and I managed a brisk walk through Beeley Woods, alongside the roaring, tumbling River Don. I like seeing it like this, full of power and energy.  However, this can spell trouble for flood-prone areas east of Sheffield; with luck, not this time.
