Fireworks in the neighbourhood and further away interrupted my New Year's Eve. I didn't make it to midnight. 

This morning I needed to be ready to start this mystery quilt at 9 AM local time. Coffee was a definite necessity. 

I give full points to this quilt store in Texas, USA for arranging and managing this YouTube mystery for New Year's Day 2025. It started with a few technical difficulties but was rolling soon enough. Prizes are called out at intervals requiring one to jump up and email the store within 3 minutes to qualify for the prize. Somehow, the store is coping with more than 4, 400 participants worldwide. 

We have been warned that the 5 hours we have together will not be enough to complete the quilt top. It will be interesting to see the results that others post as we go along. 

So, I'm home and still in pajamas as I motor through this mystery. At some point I may retreat from the hubbub.......
