A New Year Begins

My grandson, Matthew and his friend stayed over last night and today I cooked a roast for them. This, together with olives and dips provided a starter. I had forgotten how much two 17 year olds can put away! Bless them. I love to see food being enjoyed.
It was a wet and windy, bleak day and so I missed out on my traditional New Year’s Day walk as did other, less hardy, folk, I would imagine
