New Year’s Day + 1 Walk

Owing to the bad weather, I missed out on my traditional walk on New Year’s Day but today the weather had changed and it was cold but sunny. I had a lovely walk around the Castle and surrounding footpaths and lanes.
In 1647 King Charles II spent some time imprisoned in this castle.
