Looking for the Light in 2025

My intention was to spend today at home, doing the sort of things one does in the new year - things to do lists, thinking a bit about 2025 and what to do, a bit of reading,

But then early afternoon, shafts of sunshine followed by showers, and I decided to head to Crosby Beach and blow the cobwebs away. Lists can wait.

It was windy and really cold, and at first very wet. However, the sky was quite extraordinary, and ever changing. It would have been mesmerising if it hadn’t been so cold. Lesson for the next time - take gloves.
