New Year

Saw the new year in as usual, asleep in bed! Briefly heard a couple of fireworks being let off.but just turned over and went back to sleep.
A very quiet day at home, got a couple more jobs done and the house is tidier than it has been in a long time, we'll see how long I can keep it that way! Pottered about this morning and cooked a joint of meat in the slow cooker for lunch. Then a quick walk once it finally stopped raining before watching Mary Poppins on the TV. Back to work tomorrow, I think a lot of people will be off so hoping to ease back in gently!
