Seasonal Illuminations

It's been a very wild and wet start to 2025. However, very appropriately, Radio 4 has been broadcasting programmes throughout the day inspired by the  Shipping Forecast and its introductory  music "Sailing By". We've listened to all sorts of interesting sea -themed poetry, music and stories.
Coincidentally , we even had grilled kippers for breakfast, which Martin had found in the freezer! 
At last I've  (nearly ) caught up with blips for our NZ holiday back in September /October. 
Late this afternoon, we thought we should get some fresh, moist, air (rather rather than merely vicariously from the radio), so went for a short  walk and discovered a few more illuminated houses and gardens. Here is one of them, with raindrops glistening in the hedge.
