Fremont Bridge

We haven't walked along this stretch of the riverfront for a long while, it used to be a regular walk for us.  We'd walk over the Broadway Bridge - which is the next bridge along the river and can be seen in the photo (Steel Bridge just about visible behind that) - then along the riverfront.  A couple of new apartment buildings here and there since then but otherwise much the same.  We wondered how loud the roar of the Fremont Bridge might be inside the new apartments right next to it (extra).

Cold and gray.  

I was glad to rediscover a woolly pom-pom hat I'd forgotten I had, it was stuffed inside a coat pocket in the closet.  Wore it all day.
