Spotted Dove

A short walk to find a photo for today's Blip. The Spotted Dove was briefly on the road and then relocated to an area just outside a property in Hollywood Avenue. It looked to me almost as though it was trying to be inconspicuous amongst of a half dozen or more sparrows. When I trained the Pentax on them they all scarpered.

Went to Swanson to spend time with daughter C and Young L; Mr H was away from home today. We are all hoping that 2025 will be a less stressful year that that which has just ended. 

The rain gods have been kind. Fairly gentle rain in short bursts frequently through morning and into the afternoon.
