Thursday 2nd January 2025...

My bestie took me for a drive today... Not the best conditions to be driving in nor the mountain roads but we did...
2 hours drive further North of my place, up into the mountains to Kenilworth Bakery and Donut shop, we got there about 11am and had coffee and Donuts, mine was the round Jam Donut as I didn't think I'd handle so much cream without eating something for breakfast... They were so yummy and fresh... That's when it decided to rain my heavily and we got a bit wet getting back to the car...
It was then a 45 minute drive to Yandina to our lunch stop at Thai Tong and it's the best flavoured Thai meals we've ever had and we've been to quite a few... Massaman Curry (Beef), Stir Fry Crispy Pork Belly and Thai Fried Rice... I bought a doggy bag home and I ate that for dinner... So delicious... We were to visit The Plant Shack on our way back but the traffic was really heavy so we opted to just go straight to my place... Got home after 4pm after leaving at 9am... It was a good day... I then watered my plants and captured a sliver of the Moon just above the tops of the trees and up in the top right hand corner is Venus...
