Today

Was at the beach at 8am but the hardy women weren’t swimming as they judged it too rough and a bit rippy, so the nervous crew (us) followed their lead. With the result 4 of us sat on the beach and we had a great chat and a NYL (new year laugh).

Then played tennis at 10am with Helen, Bernadette and Rose - OMG how far I have fallen. I was a disgrace.

Then visited my mammy and chatted.

This evening I am going to a film/food evening with a bunch of women who are terrific seamstresses, embroiderers, crocheters, - wonderfully creative women who also paint and write. These women also love food and talking. I don’t sew or knit but I do recommend the film and bring
the grub.

So this evening we are watching ‘Phantom Thread’ with Daniel DL being very nasty indeed. I think I chose well.

I made dessert which is Mincemeat Muffins. Delicious and very damn easy

Blip is of a plant I bought as gift. I think I might buy one for myself tomorrow. It’s nice. Innit?

I think today might be Thursday - But I couldn’t swear to it.
