Chilly

Took my drawing of Sophie the dog to the framers today.  It'll be ready mid-January.

Intended to buy some dog walking boots - for me - in the sale but the choice was limited.

Got sidetracked when the screw on one arm of my sunglasses disappeared and tried to get it fixed.  Specsavers did their usual 'Did you buy them from here?' I bought them from TKMaxx at a fraction of the price any other high street purveyors of sunglasses could provide. 

After waiting at Specsavers for 10 minutes while the others in the queue were having eye tests, I gave up.  They may have been unable to fix them anyway.

Headed to TKMaxx to buy a new pair but Christmas apparently negates providing sunglasses to sell. 

Back home had the idea of using a screw from another pair of broken sunglasses.  The screw was too thick I need one with the thickness of a pin.  Some tasks can become so convoluted and difficult.

Have ordered a pair online.  I do have a couple of spares but I really like grey lenses not brown or green.

Took hound for a chilly afternoon walk in bright sunshine AND wearing sunglasses.

The forecasters are warning of a snow bomb this weekend.  Often this passes us by.  We'll see.
