Antics in the morning
with Jack. As I write this evening Ted is eyeing up Bobbiegirl, she is responding gently, what a sweet heart; until recently she avoided him making it clear to the youngster not to approach. They are now stretched out on the rug, Ted gently offering a paw, Bg is waving a right paw at him. Both look relaxed. Ted is learning not to over do the playing game, Jack is teaching him well.
I looked up ginger coloured cats, the following was found:
To be ginger, a male kitten only needs to inherit the “orange” gene from his mother. Females, however, need to receive copies of the gene from both parents, and the more copies of the gene she inherits, the more ginger she will be. Females with orange in their coats are more often tortoiseshells and calicos.
