Günther gone

After seemingly two weeks glorious sunshine, even if cool, it's now our turn to get mucky weather. Wind started to increase having battered the UK a day or two ago and after sunny, incredibly warm +9⁰C this morning,  the temperature dropped like a stone in the afternoon and by 9pm we had snow. 

Photo taken late afternoon at the car park above Ottobeuren mainly used by joggers & dog walkers. Seldom see so many cars, but I suspect we were all dig walkers who had suffered curfew the ladt few days with fireworks  & needed a good long walk - the forest was only wind & rain protected place around. I didn't see a single jogger. 

PS Günther is German weather people's name for the high blessing the Alps with glorious weather in the last few days.
