The Beautiful Tarn

Cathie’s birthday.
She started off going for a run with Jodie.
We then left the house about 9:30am to drive to Ambleside. :)
It was a beautiful, literally freezing day and slow traffic.
Coffee, not in our favourite spot because it was closed but in the wee cafe on the pier.
Then we went to Loughrig Tarn.
It was so beautiful.
And not too cold! Again, I found it ok getting in. It was soooo good.
Then back to Ambleside for and all day breakfast at Esquires. And cake! :)
It again took far too long getting home due to traffic, but it was a lovely day.
Home about 7pm. Megan stopped by to give Cathie a gift. Then fire and a movie. :)
