New Year’s Day Walk

Not a swim. After all the rain yesterday and last night, the river was very high and fast. There was not much space under the foot bridge before the water.
We walked up to the Cavendish, had a sausage butty and a coffee, then back down on the Abby side. It was beautiful and sunny on the way back but starting to rain again by the time we got back to the cars.
Nice to get out.
The rest of the day was cleaning and tidying in preparation for Sarah arriving. Which she did about 7:30pm. We had dinner then sat and did Christmas Wentworth jigsaws. :)
