Bright sea day

Cold and sunny when we got up. Headed to the Isle of Wight on the hover.  Beautiful light all day.  P picked us up and we walked back into Seaview with the tide high to go to the pub for lunch.  Gorgeous views across the Solent with relatively few boats although a big Chinese container vessel in orange and white.   And a small fleet of dinghies, close to the water with their white sails sparkling.  

Met JC and his friends Jeremy and Juliette there and had a slow and jolly lunch.  We didn’t mind waiting too much as we were just chatting.  Walked back in glowing light for tea at P&V’s. 

Very cold, -1.5C by the time we got home.  Fire lit and we watched the first of the new SAS Rogue Heroes which was excellent and a Strike where the characters as ever were better than the plot.
