Flaked out

Our family have been here for a week and have been generous in sharing all their germs with the Ards Man and me. This little tyke was a very unhappy little bunny for the first few days and then rallied a bit while her sister took over germ central position. My poor younger daughter was very sick the whole time she was with us, poor soul, so didn’t get to enjoy the festivities as much as she might have.

We had drinks and canapés on New Year’s Day for extended family and the children all had a blast, so it was good to renew those relationships.

Younger daughter and her family have just left, older one and her crew out socialising with old school pals and their children. Life continues in all its joy and messiness.
