Sick

The Ards Man and I have succumbed to a horrible upper respiratory tract infection. I’m calling it that as it’s much worse than a ‘cold’. We had our ‘flu vaccinations so it shouldn’t be that, although the illness had floored both of us.

Unfortunately our daughters were home when we started feeling ill so we weren’t able to look after them and our wee grandies as well as we might have. Saying that, we still cooked all their meals and suchlike but we took ourselves up to bed at about 9pm! It was lovely to see all the children but it definitely proved harder work than usual.

And I’m blipping from my sick bed! The AM is fast asleep beside me - in the middle of the day. Unheard of!
