Cound

This morning we were up early-ish as we had to take Chris's bike to Halfords to get his puncture repaired.  Walking through Sainsbury's while it was being done, we spotted Chris's sister, my friend Teresa and then my old university lecturer.  It's a small world!
This afternoon, as it was such a beautiful day, I rooted out a book of walks and we headed to Cound. The walk was only 3 1/2 miles but took a while as it was extremely muddy and slippy. We've never walked in this part of Shropshire before and it was beautiful. The book recommends the walk to see snowdrops, which we were too early for, but it was lovely and we'll definitely return.
