View from the Bump

A cold start to the day with a bit of ice, so I waited until this afternoon to drive over to Sheringham for a walk up Beeston Bump. I want to get fitter and lose weight, so I'm adding a regular walk up to the top of the Bump to help. The Bump is formed from glacial deposits left in the ice age about 10,000 to 15,000 years ago. It's 63m above sea level and the steps up the steepest part were replaced recently, making the climb easier and safer. I took a circular route which meant c60 steps going up and c120 steps coming back. I look forward to seeing the time I take to do that route come down! A beautiful, crisp afternoon for a walk and several people were out doing the same. I then got a couple of things from Sainsbury's Local, and 6 half prize jigsaws from WHSmith (I was initially overcharged for 3 of them, but soon sorted).
